So I watched The Proposal the other day with my boyfriend. (He secretly loves romantic comedies. Tehe!) The movie was just what I expected.
It was about a top book editor named Margaret Tate (played by Sandra Bullock) who is in trouble when her boss tells her her visa is denied, and she needs to return immediately to her homeland, Canada. Desperate not to lose her job to some idiot, Margaret tells her boss she's engaged to her assistant, Andrew Paxton (played by Ryan Reynolds). Then chaos insues.
(Spoiler Alert!) As I was watching the movie, I felt like it was one of my romance novels thrown onto screen. There's no denying the movie was adorable. My favorite part was when Sandra Bullock dances and sings "Salt Shaker." I couldn't stop laughing. The one qualm I had with the film was the short amount of time it took for Andrew and Margaret to decide they were in love with each other. The story was just too perfect. Not enough conflict for me.
But it was worth watching if you like romance. I give it 3.5 stars!

I didn't think it would be good at all, and I really like Sandra Bullock. Plus he is way young for her. That reminds me. Sandra Bullock has a new movie with Bradley Cooper! I have no idea what it is about, but I am going to see it. Hello, Bradley Cooper is in it!
